Terms of service

These terms cover use of Weekly Comic Studio’s website and connected services, operated by Joshua Weekly. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the content rules. Our Privacy policy explains how information is handled.

Your account

Use an account you are authorized to access, protect your login and authenticator, and do not impersonate others or attempt to bypass credit, moderation or security controls. Follow the age and eligibility requirements of your sign-in provider and applicable law. Contact Support if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your work remains yours

You retain the rights you hold in your comics, characters, artwork and writing. Submitting work does not transfer ownership to Weekly Comic Studio. You grant the permission needed to store, process, review and display submitted work and promote it within the service. Submit only material you have the right to use. This permission ends upon removal, subject to necessary backup and legal retention. See Creator rights.

Publication and moderation

Publication submissions are free and subject to automated and human review. Approval is not a guarantee of copyright ownership, legal compliance or future availability. We may restrict content or accounts that violate the rules, threaten safety or abuse the service. Use Support to report content or appeal a decision.

App purchases and Studio Credits

The app is a Windows desktop product, not a mobile app. The checkout shows the item, price, included credits and applicable tax before purchase. Microsoft Store purchases are subject to Microsoft’s purchase terms. Website payments are processed through Square. Studio Credits are service credits for the displayed AI features, not cash or an investment, and are attached to your creator account. Review the credit charge shown before starting a request. Contact Support with purchase or credit problems; applicable consumer rights and provider refund rules still apply.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Paid plans use recurring Square invoices at the monthly or annual price and tax shown at checkout. Access begins after payment is verified. Annual plans refill their included credits monthly, not all at once. Cancel future billing at any time from Account: Plan, Credits & Billing. Cancellation does not shorten an already paid period: a monthly period starting August 1 remains available until September 1 even if canceled August 2. After paid access expires, the account returns to its applicable free or gifted access. Separately purchased credits remain on the account and do not expire at renewal or cancellation.

Subscription gifts

An owner-issued subscription gift provides one calendar month of the specified tier and its stated credit allowance, without a charge or automatic renewal. Gift credits expire with the gift. Gifts do not cancel, shorten or change the billing of an existing paid subscription; the highest currently active tier determines access.

AI features

AI output can be inaccurate, inconsistent or rejected by the provider. Review generated text and images before using or publishing them. Neither successful generation nor moderation approval guarantees that an output is suitable or that you have exclusive rights to it. Availability depends on the service and its providers; interruptions can occur.

Support and changes

We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the website or account notices. Contact weeklyjo246@yahoo.com or Support about these terms, account closure or a dispute. Nothing here excludes rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
